Milánova & Milánova is more than a brand: it is a way of life inspired by art, the beauty of craftsmanship, and the pursuit of authenticity. Each creation is born from the desire to tell a story, evoke emotions, and pay tribute to those who inspire us.
It all began in Sofia, Bulgaria, when Vilyana Milanova—textile artist by training and restless soul—was searching for a high-quality silk pocket square. She found nothing that reflected what she envisioned. Thus, Milánova & Milánova was born: as a creative response to that absence, and as a deeply personal project.
Two years later, the dream took shape in Barcelona. In 2024 we opened our creative studio: Atelier 19, a small workshop where each piece comes to life. Its name pays tribute to Studio 19 of the textile department, where Vilyana once worked alongside other artists during her training. Today, that same creative, collaborative, and passionate spirit remains alive in every corner of our atelier.
Milánova & Milánova is also a tribute—to family, to the feminine lineage, and to the power of art as a form of expression. The first “Milánova” represents Vilyana; the second honors the women of her family who have accompanied her with unconditional love. A brand that carries its roots in its name and its vision in every stroke.
We believe in art as a way of life. That is why our designs do not follow trends, but rather tell stories, convey emotions, and celebrate individuality. Each piece is a statement of intent: an invitation to dress with soul, elegance, and awareness.
